Sunshine Coast Mountain Bike Centre

Mountain bikers riding on path

Overview

Set against the backdrop of national rainforest at Parklands Conservation Park, the new Sunshine Coast Mountain Bike Centre will deliver an international-standard Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) competition trail and world-class facilities for athletes and the community, forming part of a broader nature-based recreation precinct.

To be developed on Sunshine Coast Council-owned land, adjacent to more than 40 kilometres of existing nature trails, the Centre will feature a new trail hub, bike hire, amenities, car parking, and a café—supporting year-round use and creating a vibrant legacy well beyond the Games.

Proposed to host mountain bike events for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Sunshine Coast Mountain Bike Centre will attract outdoor enthusiasts to the region, boost the local economy, and inspire a new generation of riders.
