Queensland Tennis Centre

Tennis players on court at Queensland Tennis Centre

Overview

The Queensland Tennis Centre is poised for transformation in preparation for hosting tennis and wheelchair tennis events during the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The proposed upgrade will deliver a new 3,000-seat show court arena and up to 12 additional match courts, greatly expanding the centre’s capacity to build on the venue’s international reputation while enhancing the home of the National Tennis Academy.

With increased capacity and world-class facilities, the upgraded Queensland Tennis Centre will honour Queensland’s proud tennis legacy – from champions like Ash Barty, Pat Rafter and Rod Laver, to the next generation of players - while providing more opportunities for the community to participate in and enjoy the sport.
