Overview

Anna Meares Velodrome is a world-class indoor cycling facility and legacy venue from the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, home to AusCycling (Queensland) and host to local, club, national and international competitions.

Featuring a thrilling 250-metre timber track and current seating for up to 3,500 spectators in event-mode, the venue already meets international competition standards and will require only minor upgrades, including temporary seating additions, to be Games-ready.

Located within the Chandler Sports Precinct alongside the Brisbane SX International BMX Centre, further improvements across the wider precinct will ensure accessibility for large Games crowds, while the Velodrome continues to deliver legacy benefits for aspiring athletes, high-performance programs, and Queensland’s cycling community.
