Recruitment begins for coveted Games infrastructure CEO role

The search has begun for one of Australia’s most exciting corporate leadership roles.

The recruitment campaign aims to appoint the CEO of the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) delivering infrastructure for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

GIICA Chairman Stephen Conry said the new CEO would lead the Authority’s executive team through a highly crucial phase in the delivery of Games infrastructure projects.

“The opportunity to become GIICA’s CEO is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape both the world’s biggest event and the future of Queensland,” Mr Conry said.

“It doesn’t get much bigger than this – a visionary role for an extraordinary leader delivering generational infrastructure for our state and beyond. The successful candidate will hit the ground running, working with the Authority Board to deliver Games infrastructure.”

The new CEO will be a permanent appointment and work alongside the Board to deliver Games infrastructure on-time and on-budget.
